March 25, 2010 marks the making of history in Oman, twitter community in Oman join and celebrate simultaneously with more that 200 cities around the world – Twestival.
Twestival is a community gathering of the members of the twitter community – an event held on the same day of the year across several cities of the world synchronized in the real world.
Dubbed as a unique confluence of land, water and air, Oman Twestival 2010 promises to stand out among all the Twestivals. For starters, it will be held on sea on board Hormuz, the world’s fastest catamaran, thanks to the generosity of National Ferries Company. Oman Air, the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman will be providing onboard hospitality, giving Oman’s growing and enthusiastic twitter community a flavour of genuine Omani hospitality.
