I’ve always had a lot of respect for designers who can create a logo that comes across as elegant, stylish and beautiful. Of all the styles of logo design, elegance is the one that’s perhaps the hardest to do well. Logos need to be immediately recognizable and need to represent a brand perfectly, and being able to create a design that fits that criteria and also has it’s own personality and tone can be a remarkably difficult achievement.
It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what makes a logo elegant – it can appear in the form of stylish, sweeping calligraphy, but it can also appear from the use of stern, straight lines and minimalist, uncluttered aesthetics. In either case, an elegant design can come across as either subtly playful or professional, depending on the tone of the work. For this post, I’ve brought together a collection of some beautifully designed, elegant and stylish logos that will hopefully inspire you and give your creativity some fuel.
